Terms for enquiries and bookings.

A photography enquiry becomes a booking only after the written offer is accepted.

1. Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to use of the website and requests sent to NORD FOTO. A specific photography or video assignment is also governed by the written offer you accept.

2. A request is not a booking

Submitting the form does not reserve a date or photographer. An assignment is only booked when the deliverables, photographer, total price, payment schedule, and any travel or weather terms have been confirmed in writing and the offer has been accepted.

3. Prices and payment

Website prices are starting prices. The offer states what is included, applicable VAT, travel, accommodation, rental, additional crew and usage rights. Invoices, deposits and due dates follow the accepted offer.

4. Changes, cancellation and weather

Deadlines and costs for rescheduling or cancellation are stated in the specific offer. Weather, aurora, traffic, ferries and other conditions beyond the parties’ control may require a new time or location. Northern lights and particular weather conditions can never be guaranteed.

5. Delivery and selection

The number of images or films, formats, editing, gallery and delivery deadline are agreed in writing. The photographer normally makes the artistic and technical selection; unedited raw files are only delivered when expressly agreed.

6. Usage rights and privacy

The client’s usage rights are described in the offer. Copyright is not transferred unless agreed. Client images are not published in a portfolio or marketing without a separate legal basis or agreement. See the privacy notice for processing of requests.

7. Local partners

If a local photographer is proposed, you will see who will deliver and approve the match before booking. The written offer identifies the contracting party and who is responsible for delivery.

8. Governing law and contact

Norwegian law applies. The parties should first try to resolve disagreements through dialogue. For questions about these terms, contact contact@nordfotograf.com.
