How NORD FOTO processes your personal data.

NORD FOTO uses enquiry data for availability, pricing and a possible photography agreement.

1. Controller

NORD FOTO is the controller for information collected on this website. Privacy requests may be sent to contact@nordfotograf.com.

2. Information we collect

When you submit a request, we process your name, email, phone number, preferred date, city or location, selected service, budget if provided, and the assignment details you choose to provide. We do not ask for special-category personal data.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We use the information to check availability, clarify the assignment, prepare a price and follow up a possible agreement. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a potential contract. Necessary service security and abuse prevention may rely on our legitimate interests. We do not use your request for newsletters without separate consent.

4. Processors and storage

Netlify provides hosting and receives a notification copy of verified form submissions. Supabase stores requests in our separate project database. ImprovMX forwards email sent to our contact address to the internal Gmail inbox. These providers process data under contract and their applicable security and transfer mechanisms.

5. Local photographers

If we cannot deliver directly, we may suggest a specific local photographer. Contact details are not sent to that photographer until you have explicitly approved the recipient and what will be shared.

6. Retention

Requests that do not become assignments are normally deleted or anonymised no later than 12 months after the last contact. Information connected with a completed assignment is retained as needed for the agreement, documentation of usage rights, and statutory accounting or record-keeping requirements.

7. Cookies and local storage

The website uses necessary local storage to remember your privacy choice. Analytics and marketing technologies are not currently active. If optional technology is introduced later, it will only load after active consent. You can reopen Cookie settings in the footer and change your choice at any time.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also withdraw consent. Contact us at the address above. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

9. Changes

This notice is updated when processing or providers change. The date above identifies the current version.
